Cove Park and Tyrone Guthrie Announcement

We are really delighted to announce this year’s recipients of our Varuna alumni international exchanges.

Roanna Gonsalves will be winging her way to the wilds of Scotland’s west coast on Varuna's first international exchange with Cove Park. Roanna is the author of The Permanent Resident, which won the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards Multicultural Prize in 2018.

Mirandi Riwoe will be heading to Tyrone Guthrie in the misty countryside of Annaghmakerrig, Ireland. Mirandi Riwoe’s novella The Fish Girl won Seizure’s Viva la Novella V and was shortlisted for The Stella Prize. She is the author of two crime novels and is prose editor for Peril Magazine.
