PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER ROLE
Due to an upcoming retirement, we’re looking for a bookkeeper to join our team.
This is a permanent part-time role of 10 hours per week, to be worked over two days, with some working from home available. The start date is flexible, but would ideally be mid-February to early March 2025. Lots of on-the-job skills development is available for the right person.

Responsibilities include:
End-to-end payroll processing, and monitoring of all staff awards and conditions
Accounts payable, including supplier payments and creditor reconciliations
Accounts receivable, including following up payments
Bank reconciliations, including Stripe, PayPal and third-party payment portals
Administration of super, workers comp, insurances and term deposits
End-of-month journals and accruals
Preparation of BAS/IAS/PAYG, including reconciliation of all GST and payroll liabilities
ACNC and donations reporting
Assisting the Executive Director to prepare financial reports and budgets
ATO liaison as required
Preparation of documents for annual audit
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
Tertiary qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or an accounting degree
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Strong working knowledge of MYOB, QuickBooks or Xero
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, including payroll
Proficiency with Excel
High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality
