2020 Publisher Introduction Program - Fellowships Announced

Congratulations to our five 2020 Publisher Introduction Program Development Residency recipients:

We look forward to welcoming all of these wonderful writers to Varuna, and wish them all the best in the further development of their manuscripts.

Varuna received 119 manuscripts from writers across Australia for the 2020 Publisher Introduction Program. The manuscripts were each double-read in the first selection process, and a longlist was read by all three assessors (Alex Craig, Louise Thurtell and Mark O’Flynn). The shortlisted manuscripts were circulated to our participating publishers for their final selection. It was an incredibly competitive process, and all writers who made the shortlist are congratulated.
