Tyrone Guthrie Fellowships
This four-week international exchange fellowship with the extraordinary Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Annaghmakerrig, Ireland, is awarded to a member of Varuna’s alumni once a year.
The fellowship includes return airfares between Australia and Ireland, as well as four weeks’ accommodation and all meals in your own private studio at the Tyrone Guthrie multi-disciplinary artist residency.
The reciprocal fellowship also invites a poet or writer from Ireland to come to Australia and stay at Varuna for a four-week residency. This residency is held in October each year, and coincides with the opportunity for this writer to present at the Blue Mountains Writers Festival.
