Support an Alumni film project and see your name in lights
Ever wanted to see your name on the big screen? ‘The Last Babushka Doll’ crowdfunding campaign has lots of fun opportunities to get involved in a local short film. Varuna Alumna Georgina Luck has received Creative Partnerships Australia MATCH funding to propel her short film into production. Set in the mystical Blue Mountains, the film explores a paramedic’s most confronting case – with 7 seconds to decide, will he prolong a patient’s suffering or choose to end the patient’s pain? Supporters can get some great rewards: see your name in lights in the credits, get your own film script assessed, visit the set and tread the red carpet at the Film Gala Screening.
A script-reading will also take place at the MTNS MADE Salon, Hotel Blue, 88 Lurline St, Katoomba Wed 16 March, open to everyone.
If the project reaches its target, Creative Partnerships Australia will match every donation dollar for dollar.
