INTO THE BOX: An Intro to Writing for Television with Vicki Madden (The Bill, Blue Healers, McLeod's Daughters) is coming up in January. Into the Box: an Intro to Writing for TV
A course for emerging writers and potential script editors who want to learn how to work in the fast-paced and challenging environment of series television. Run by highly experienced TV Writer Vicki Madden (The Bill, Water Rats, Stingers, Halifax fp, McLeod's Daughters) you'll learn about requirements of writing for a medium that requires team work, strict deadlines and an understanding of the many production aspects needed to make an on-going series

Avid Media Composer 101 and 110

TV Field Camera, Sound & Lighting Skills
Five-day version of our popular TV Shooter/Producer Course where you will learn the basic principles of recording quality picture and sound, with an emphasis on working in situations where you will have little control over the events you are filming (eg Reality TV, Ob. Docs, Magazine- Style programs). Added to the already brilliant three day course is an additional lighting basics unit and additional practical exercises on location.
