Ann Moyal Non-fiction Fellowship Winners Announced

Congratulations to Sarah Holland-Batt, Cathy Perkins and Geordie Williamson who will be heading to Varuna in November for a three-week residency.

The Ann Moyal Non-fiction Fellowship was set up to encourage excellence in non-fiction writing with the aim to support writers developing an original work with research at the heart.

Over 150 applications were received from writers across Australia and highlighted the talent of Australian non-fiction writers and revealed a breadth of interpretation of non-fiction writing.

Thank you to the Ann Moyal Fellowship assessors, Dr Tom Griffiths, Kate Cole-Adams and Dr Mark Mckenna, who had the difficult task of assessing the applications. They were impressed with the high standard of applications, awarding highly commended to Neha Kale, Sonia Orchard and Micaela Sahhar.
